For weeks my kids had been looking forward to Spring Break because we were heading to Minneapolis to stay in a hotel that had a water park, and go to the Mall of America to ride on the rides. It was all Ethan could talk about everyday for weeks and he was especially excited about the water park even though Ethan is kind of nervous about water.
When we finally got to the water park Joe took Ethan to the kid area and once this large dump buckle tipped and the little interest he had in the water was now gone. So then it was my turn to try to talk him into trying something out and after much explaining of what would happen and watching other people do thing he was willing to try and after a while he got into it and was so ok with the water so much that when I went to take him down a water slide and this kid was squirting water in our faces as we walked up the stairs he still wanted to go through that to do it again! Yeah for brave Ethan, we were so proud of him he was has pretty afraid of water since he was really little so this was a giant leap forward for him. And Katia our little fish absolutely loved the water park the only thing we had to worry about with her was that he didn't drown herself. We really had to keep an eye on her.
When we were trying to get off the lazy river one time was had gotten off the inner tube and Katia got pulled away from Lisa and I and hit her head on the side of the steps area so we had to go down river and drag her back to the steps to get out of the pool. It didn't knock or out or anything she was just fine but it was one of those scary moments.
Here are some of our highlights from the trip, sorry no pictures in the water park I couldn't figure out a way to have my camera there without getting it wet or/and stolen. Well also for the obvious, no swimsuit pictures!!

That looks like so much fun! I have never been there, but you may have convinced me to make the trip. My kids would LOVE those Legos!
That looks like serious fun! Scary story with Katia though!
